VendNext Captures the Attention of Industry Trade Publications: October 2013
VendNext (client) has been capturing the attention of industry trade publications with their announcement about a VIP wait list for a product that- get this- hasn't even been revealed yet! Teasing the product through an innovative website, combined with a social media campaign of videos from the founder, and media relations that keep only certain publications and journalists in the loop, makes for an exciting build-up to the "big reveal" set for the national trade show for the vending industry, in Chicago in spring of 2014.

New Name, Same Trusted Piano Experts at Portland Piano Company
Desire to remain committed to music in Portland prompts Sherman Clay employees to form new company
PORTLAND, Ore. — June 4, 2013 — Mitch Paola, General Manager of Sherman Clay Pianos for 25 years, has opened the Portland Piano Company in the historic Tiffany Center in downtown Portland. When Sherman Clay closed its Portland store earlier this year, Paola and the Sherman Clay staff decided to utilize their shared experience, passion for music and dedication to the community, and open their own store.
“It was the next logical step for us; we just weren’t ready to be done,” says Paola, whose love of music led him to join the family business, Moe's Pianos (which later partnered with Sherman Clay), 30 years ago. “Moe's Pianos is named after Maurice (Moe) Schuster, my grandfather, a violinist with the symphony who loved to rebuild pianos. Supporting the local music community, and providing expertise and quality instruments, is my passion. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
Portland Piano Company continues the ongoing commitment to provide the highest quality sales and service by offering new and used pianos for every budget and special event pianos through Moe's Pianos Concert & Event Rentals. They carry Fazioli, Grotrian, Baldwin, and Heintzman Pianos. For more information, visit www.portlandpianocompany.com.

MKP signs new client Dovetail Coffee Roasters and discovers she's been drinking bad coffee for years- June, 2013
It's a tough job, but we're up for the challenge! |
This local coffee bean roaster is full of spirit, passion and personality, and we're very excited to be handling their Public and Media Relations strategy as well as social media campaigns.
Here's a photo I took while sampling the latest blends and learning about all the different ways you can brew coffee. I enjoyed a latte, espresso, and cold brew coffee. Yes, I was wired for the rest of the day but wow- I had no idea how awful the coffee I've been used to drinking has really been.
I am sure I will turn into a coffee snob shortly but once you taste the real deal, it's hard to go back. Stay tuned to see their new website and other exciting happenings for this local coffee bean roaster and wholesaler! -MP.

Press Hit: Pearl Women's Center on KATU Channel 2 Morning Show, AM NW: February 15, 2013
New client Pearl Women's Center has an amazing Vein Clinic in the heart of the Pearl. For our 1st and 2nd quarter intiatives, we've been tasked with drawing attention to the Vein Clinic at PWC.
To start things off with a bang, we landed the client a spot on a local morning show that rates top in the market to discuss the clinic. He received 4 minutes and we worked to craft the messaging and talking points prior to the segment, as well as some media training. Dr. Rosenfield hit this one of the park! He was able to keep a clear, consistent message and hit all of the main points. The result was more calls about the Vein Clinic and local recognition for Dr. Rick and his practice.
